TESTS, CERTIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS OF THE PDC.E 60 RT

Innovation must go hand in hand with verification and testing. The INGESCO® PDC.E 60 RT lightning rod has undergone different tests aimed at verifying both its performance and the behaviour of its components. These include:

  • Early streamer emission time evaluation test in accordance with Annex C of UNE 21186:2011 and NF C 17-102:2011.
  • Tests carried out at the LABELEC High Voltage Laboratory, accredited by ENAC No. 307/LE681 in accordance with ISO 17025.
  • Mechanical tensile and bending tests to failure.
  • Tests in accordance with IEC 62561-1:2023, on the requirements for connection components of lightning protection systems.
  • Electromagnetic compatibility tests in accordance with IEC 61000-6-2:2019 and IEC 61000-6-4:2019.
  • Tests also carried out under natural field conditions.

The PDC.E 60 RT complies with UNE 21186:2011 and NF C 17-102:2011, while the testing device complies with IEC 62561-1:2023 and the electromagnetic compatibility requirements indicated above.
